Man's injury believed to be life-threatening after shooting in Toronto's west end: police

Police said a man was believed to be seriously injured after a late-night shooting in Toronto's West York area.

The incident occurred near Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West. Toronto police said several callers reported hearing multiple gunshots in the area. At the scene, officers reportedly found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. His injuries "appear to be" life-threatening, they said. People are advised to be careful in the area. This investigation is ongoing.
