Experts assess the extent of the damage as limited traffic appears to have resumed on the main bridge and Vladimir Putin ordered extra security for infrastructure
Russian divers will examine the extent of the damage caused by a powerful explosion on a Russian road and rail bridge to Crimea, a despised symbol of the Russian occupation and a key logistical link for Russian troops in southern Ukraine.
Russian news agencies quoted the deputy prime minister, Marat Khusnullin, as saying the divers would start work on Sunday at 6 am (0300 GMT), with a more detailed survey of the water surface expected to be completed by the end of the day.
